This application helps you convert a wide range of video files to popular audio and video formats. In addition, you can use this program as a video splitter.
Working with Allok 3GP PSP MP4 iPod Video Converter is very easy, since it comes with a neat and user-friendly interface. It seems that the program is designed mostly for amateurs. My argument in this regard is that the program provides few settings and not very advanced customizing options. For instance, you have an ability to select the video quality by choosing among 6 predefined patterns, ranging from 'low' to 'superb'. This is very helpful for a common user, but a professional doesn't like patterns would prefer to set values manually. The video size is also adjustable; if you don't want to keep the original dimension, you can select implicit parameters or set new values for width and height.

The thing I like the most about this program is an ability to adjust the volume by increasing it up to 500 percent. So, if you have a video recording with a faded sound, you can make it louder. Obviously, the process works in reverse, meaning that you can reduce the volume to mute.

Apart from being a converter, this app is also a video splitter. You can create smaller clips taking into account either the time intervals or the file size.

To sum it all up, the tool is good but not great, in my opinion. The settings aren't extensive enough compared to how much the program costs. I can't say anything about the conversion speed, since the trial version lets you encode only first five minutes of each file. However, if you are looking for a converter that supports many video and audio formats, this is an appropriate tool. You don't need to know the format for your portable multimedia player, because you can select the target file type by choosing the device name.
